workingTitle is a creative coding playground built for exploration, rather than focussing on precision or perfection. It’s a space for sketching with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (the building blocks of the web) to see what can happen when creative intuition meets computation.
This project began as my undergrad senior capstone, a challenge to create something that represented everything I had learned in four years of design school. I wanted my final piece to be an homage to where I started: computer science, my original major and eventual minor.
When I first shifted from science to art, I expected a complete change in mindset, and I thought I’d experience a 180 in how I approached problem-solving. To my surprise, the two fields share more than they differ. Both demand structure and creativity equally. workingTitle is a space where artists can create with logic, and coders can play with art.
